In this episode of #TheDailyDoug, I'm listening to Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden. As a kid who was in high school when this album/song came out, I was surrounded by the grunge and alt-rock music of the day, but I never paid much attention to it...at least not critically. So, today's the day. Soundgarden is making its first appearance on this channel, and we're starting with one of their biggest hits. I found the piece to be harmonically more intricate than I was expecting. I hope you enjoy!
