In this edition of #thedailydoug, I'm returning to the music of American Heavy Metal band Slipknot with their 2014 song The Devil in I. I'm finally starting to truly understand the marriage of intense music for intense feelings. These guys were processing the untimely death of one of their fellow band members, and this song was part of their healing process. It's intense, and some of the images are quite graphic.
