Had quite an experience hiking up Gunung Rinjani, Indonesia's 2nd highest volcano at 3,726 MASL located in Lombok.
It was surprisingly harder than some sections of the Annapurna Circuit Trek. The gravel was incredibly slippery, dusty, loose, and steep. The wind also really ripped since we were exposed on the ridge at around 3,700 MASL. My gloves almost flew away.
But it was still a wonderful journey thanks to the humor of my friends and the kindness of our guides and porters.
