This was a climbing trip to Mt. Mystery, the 4th highest peak in the Olympic Range, between the June 8-9, 2024. We approached from the Royal Creek drainage and spent one night in Deception Basin. We made our final push for the summit via the east ridge. Mystery is a beautiful peak and we really enjoyed our short amount of time in this corner of the Park. It is a peak that lives up to its name in more ways than one. Enjoy.
