In Part 1 we take a look at my signature coffered ceiling. There are many ways to build a coffer and many styles of beams. This is my "signature ceiling detail." I've done this style many times of the years and have developed a system to install this ceiling solo with perfect results. In this video we go over the perimeter band detail which works great in situations where you are installing a coffered ceiling into a recessed tray. It gives a nice "half beam" look around the perimeter and is fairly easy to execute.
