Sad news this week as a 3 Colas Grids are formally withdrawn from service - These are 56087, 56094 and 56096.
56087 has been out of action and at Colwick/Eastcroft for a few years however 56094 and 56096 have been active in service until recent times.
For those of us remembering grids everywhere on MGR's and many other workings throughout the 80's, 90's - It's sad to see that the pool of remaining locos is shrinking further however time calls for everything eventually.
