I'm very happy I got to do this. It took a long time because it took some time to test out the book construction, as any exposed spine book has its vulnerabilities. Then I was figuring out how to print the illustrations as book cloth, and was able to print with the DTF method with a local printer (this was a struggle tbh). The journal turned out wonderfully. I haven't really talked to Carolyn about her illustration journey, so it was really nice to be able to learn more about her.
