Vertical column method is a novel technique for large scale production of quality planting materials in black pepper. The method ensures the production of top shoots, lateral shoots and normal cuttings within a very short period. This technique is developed at ICAR-Indian Institute of Spices Research, Kozhikode, Kerala.
