If you find that your front wheel often drops too soon off the end of the drop, then the chances are that you're not getting your weight transfer perfect, you're riding just a bit too slowly, or your timing is a bit off, or even a combination of all three.
I help my friend Lynn dial in her technique, starting off with a small non-scary drop to really work on the correct movement, speed and timing, and then we move up to some bigger drops where she's able to work on amplitude and really get an idea for what a drop-off is supposed to feel like.
