I competed at Pizza Fest MTL this year!
Starting back in 2017, this Montreal festival has been showcasing some of the city's best pizza joints, and awarding prestigious prizes to some of the greatest pizza-makers around the world. As it turns out, they also host a pizza-eating contest at the beginning of every year - I might not know how to make pizza, but I sure know how to eat them ;).
In the first challenge, contestants must try to eat as many pizzas as possible in under 5 minutes; the winner gets a $200 grand prize.
In round 2, contestants attempt to finish a single pizza as fast as possible.
