Wow, Amazing Work! This explains why willow sofas are so expensive! Master craftsman Ciobanu Gheorghe had intricately woven a willow sofa using different wicker weaving and braiding techniques. The process was very laborious, from harvesting and processing willow to weaving the sofa. It was exciting to find out that the legs of the sofa were of different lengths. Therefore, the front legs were longer than the rear, which is quite usual in some older pieces. This is often seen in old armoires.
