This is the fourth lecture of the Complex Analysis course where Dmitry Belyaev introduces students to the beautiful and counter-intuitive theory of holomorphic functions. In this lecture, we'll see some similarities and distinctions between real functions and their complex counterparts and we will start developing contour integration theory.

All first and second year lectures are followed by tutorials where students meet their tutor in pairs to go through the lecture and associated problem sheet and to talk and think more about the maths. Third and fourth year lectures are followed by classes.
