Concept Art Career - Is it even worth pursuing any more?

Join the back of the queue, pal! Here I talk about how hard it always has been to get in, what the industry currently looks like and why we need to be thinking outside the box and focusing on our personal art every bit as much (if not more so) than our job-related portfolios. Too many naïve youngsters out there think they'll just start doing some kind of training program, or a degree, and come out the other side ready to grab the next junior position. But it doesn't work that way unless the artist has been to a dedicated concept art school or is massively talented.
