The Crazy thing is, I was much more sore after hiking this then I was after hike the Grand Canyon. https://youtu.be/scOQga2B248 Hiking the Grand Canyon definitely required much more endurance, but this was such a climb, that is worked my muscles so much more. I opted not to hike this as part of my training to hike the Grand Canyon, because it is a completely different type of hike. When training for the Grand Canyon focus on simply hiking a lot of miles. My two favorite Grand Canyon preparation hikes were Pass Mountain https://youtu.be/9EVyT9JRLDk and Mount Ord https://youtu.be/3slujZTWPOw Also, Flatiron via Siphons Draw is also the start (or end, depending which direction you go) of the Superstition Ridgeline Trail.
