When I was 17 years old, a junior in high school, I was given the opportunity to cab ride inside the GP7 #573 of the Conway Scenic Railroad. This was such a unique experience that I'll always remember for the rest of my life. It was such an honor to have a conversation about railroading with former B&M Railroad Engineer Rudy Hood. Someone who I would consider a historical figure within the local railroading community. He was such a very personable individual. I understand that Rudy has left an immense impact among the local railroad. This is probably the only known video of Rudy Hood doing what he enjoyed most.
