Have you ever heard about Bihari Dal Pitha?
Well, I’ll allow the veteran and the legend Sanjay Mishra to do the honors. He not only showed us a slice of Bihari in Mumbai but also cooked it for us too. Simplicity at its finest!
This morning we landed up in Sanjay Mishra’s gully, Lokhandwala and started the day with a quick jog. He took us to run a couple errands and while we accompanied him, we also managed to whisk him away to Guru Da Dhaba, a crowd favorite and a place close to his heart. With each bite of Pitha, Lauki Chana, Karela, Arbi & Wheat Roti it reminded him of the bittersweet memories of what it took to become the actor he is today!
He speaks to our host Kamiya Jani about his struggling days, family, education and lots more.
We also had a sweet surprise organized for him by inviting his wife to join us as we traveled around the gullies of Lokhandwala by foot!
