There are distinct options for building agents in SharePoint, Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat, Copilot Studio (both as an extension to Microsoft 365 Copilot and for standalone custom agents), through Azure AI Foundry, and using code leveraging Microsoft's toolkits and SDKs. Given that each option conveys different capabilities, but also different complexities and potential licensing costs, working out which option to select can be extremely confusing. In this video we explore the main options, what the primary differences are across the common Copilot agent model, and consider implications such as licensing.
