After a difficult and uncertain summer for growing corn, we finally put it in the silos. Although it was affected by the drought, we are quite satisfied with the yield. In addition to our corn field (seen from drone footage), we bought another 3 hectares of corn about 17 kilometers away from the farm. Therefore, the surrounding farmers once again helped us with the transport.
2 silos were half filled with grass and we put the corn on top. We filled the third silo to a half. Now that we have a little more frequent rain showers again, we hope to be able to top off the third silo with the fourth cutting of grass.

Farmer's POV (Point of View) is a channel where I share videos of different chores that are going on on our small family farm in Slovenia. We have 60 heads of cattle, mainly simmetal breed and we milk about 35 of them. We farm in a fairly hilly area so our equipment is relatively small. Currently we own 4 tractors: Fiat DT55-56, New Holland TN70DA, Deutz Fahr Agroplus 85 and John Deere 5085M. We work around 20 hectares of mainly grass fields and about 2,5 hectares for silage corn. We also have 7 hectares of forest.
