With a snap of Grand Pabbie’s fingers, Anna’s memories of Elsa’s magic disappeared to save Anna’s life, but now that Elsa’s powers have been exposed to all the kingdom, can those memories be restored? And would Anna even want them to return? The answer may be more complicated than you think.

Many years ago, an accident forced Anna’s memories of Elsa’s magic to be altered forever. Grand Pabbie completely removed those moments from Anna’s mind and replaced them with fabricated memories that had no magic but preserved the snow and laughter. But as Anna grew, she began to notice the incomplete and fogged over childhood memories that existed within her and she sought for a way to bring them back after Elsa’s powers were revealed to the kingdom.
Sure I think there could be a magic strong enough somewhere to restore all of Anna’s memories to their true state, but currently, because those thoughts were completely erased, there seems to be no way to restore them completely. Even though those memories may never return to Anna though, she learns to not feel like a piece of her is missing. Anna has moved on from seeking to restore her past and instead prefers to find magic by remembering her childhood with her sister in the present.
