Ella Mae Morse was the sultry, swinging pop-jazz singer whose 1942 hit, ''Cow Cow Boogie,'' became the first million seller for Capitol Records and helped establish the label. This film clip is from a 1954 Liberace television show. Morse's musical style blended jazz, blues, and country, she has sometimes been called the first rock 'n' roll singer. The audio track is available from SnailWorx on the Liberace CD "Piano On Fire". "Cow Cow Boogie" performed by Liberace (featuring Ella Mae Morse). Written by Benny Carter, Gene DePaul & Don Raye.
