Storyline:
" There were only about 10-15 houses in the village where we lived. Half of these houses were empty, despite the fact that they were completely suitable for habitation. Each of the houses was built of logs, had a fireplace and some furniture. The houses were very cozy and warm, but there was not enough people living in them. They just stood empty for years. Once upon a time, the previous residents simply abandoned these houses and went to the city to build a new life. The houses were for sale for some time, but no one wanted to buy them. This village was in the middle of nowhere. There was nothing around except for solid forest and mountains, not even a store. The nearest store was 30 miles away. But our village was famous for its beautiful landscapes, blue lakes and beautiful mountains. Every season was especially beautiful here. Summer had its own entertainment, like picking mushrooms and berries, swimming in the lake and fishing. Winter had its own delights, like skiing, ice fishing, real snowy winters, and sitting by the stove. And then one day I had an idea, why not make a hotel out of the empty houses, a kind of green tourism. At first this idea seemed funny, but when I thought about it day after day, it didn't seem so strange to me anymore, but seemed quite reasonable. After a month of thinking, I decided to do it. The first thing I did was call the previous owners with an offer to buy their houses. To my surprise, all of them agreed, and the houses were sold to me for a symbolic price. The second step was to partially restore and repair some of the houses. Then they had to be furnished and put in order. All this took me about half a year. The houses were ready, they looked great. Freshly painted, cozy, fully furnished, warm and cozy, they were waiting for their first visitors. Now the task was to attract clients, whom I planned to find via the Internet. A week later I was already driving to a neighboring town where the railway runs to meet the first visitors to our hotel called "Forest Symphony". To be continued...
