We check out this Craftsman Select 24 snowblower that will not start.
We show you step by step how to diagnose and repair an issue like this on your snowblower, how to test the carburetor, how to check the spark plug, check the oil and get the carburetor serviced to run well again
The customer brings it in after he said he used it for the first time last year and the fuel has been in it the entire time he has owned it for two years.
If you snow blower was sitting with fuel in it since last year this may cause it to surge when it would start or to start up and die out shortly after with no power.
We go through the full tutorial on how to solve an issue like this with fuel sitting in a snowblower even if the snowblower was never used
We show how to fix this issue without removing the carburetor
If the carburetor on your unit is completely gummed up you will want to remove and clean the carburetor.
