This is one of our adventures to crayfish creek canyon.
A 14.5km day, no wonder I am feeling it today
The hike starts at the Burramoko fire trail near hanging rock and has a few exit route options. I have done 3 different exit routes and prefer our exit on this trip, which we back track, then after the swim, we head upwards, bush bashing for over an hour to get up Burramoko hill back to the fire trail.
It is a lot of work to get in an out of this creek so it is not for the average bushwalker. You need off track experience and nav skills, download offline maps and make sure you have a backup map app or device. If you are the leader, a second phone as a backup in case the first fails is wise.
