Let's face it, curtains can be expensive but, like paint, they add so much character to a room. Buying readymade curtains is a great option but if there is a particular print you love at the fabric store, don't despair. You can make your own custom curtains. This project is straight forward but will require time, patience and is best done with a buddy if you are dressing a large window. This project isn't necessarily about saving you money, but it could. Chances are you can make a higher quality curtain for less than you would buy a readymade one. It's about creating something with your hands that will last and that you can enjoy for many years to come. The options for print, number of panels, and linings are endless. Please share your finished curtain projects with Handyverse Inc at [email protected].
