This video show three different ways of creating hatch pattern in FreeCAD. Each of these has it’s own advantages and disadvantages. These are all explored in the video. Consequences when using hatches in Tech Draw workbench for printing or exporting pages to PDFs are also shown.
The three methods of creating hatch pattern are these:
1. Hatch as a property of an object. This method uses svg pattern.
2. Hatch as a Draft_Hatch object. This method uses pat pattern.
3. Hatch as a TechDraw_Hatch or TechDraw_GeometricHatch object. This method uses both svg and pat pattern.
