Creating Scotland was back with a celebration of Rabbie Burns and Scottish culture.

This event took place on Saturday, 18th January 2025 in Glasgow.

Event line-up

Billy Kay - Scottish writer, broadcaster and language activist, well known for his passion for and knowledge about the Scots language. Billy will also be performing his famous Tam o' Shanter.

Bruce Fummey - Stand up comedian (former Scottish Comedian of the Year), story teller and now YouTuber with the channel Scottish History Tours.

Sheena Wellington - Traditional Scottish singer who sang Robert Burns song 'A Man's A Man For A' That' at the opening ceremony of the Scottish Parliament in 1999 and most recently at Alex Salmond's memorial.

Susi Briggs - Author, storyteller, poet and musician and former Scots Scriever for the National Library of Scotland.

Davy Holt - Traditional, Original & Contemporary Scottish folk music in an upbeat and energetic style that has seen him become a well known and popular entertainer throughout Scotland and beyond.

Gordon MacIntyre-Kemp - Founder of Believe in Scotland, will be hosting the event and facilitating discussion.
