A woman jumps out of a building along with her infant child. Death note is found and the woman holds a clerk, Akhilesh, responsible for her death. Shortly after this incident another woman, a head constable is found dead. The series of crimes continues and the police decide to take Akhilesh for questioning. What they find leaves them shocked.
