Video Not Working? Fix It Now

This educational video is intended to draw attention to the problem of facilitator influence and control over letter selection when using Facilitated Communication (FC) , Spelling to Communicate (S2C), Rapid Prompting Method (RPM) or other facilitator-dependent techniques. Many autism, behavioral, and speech/language organizations oppose the use of FC/S2C/RPM, citing lack of scientific evidence, facilitator control, prompt dependency, and other harms (including false allegations of abuse). Clips used in the video came from the following sources: Frontline's Prisoners of Silence (1993): https://archive.org/details/PrisonersofSilence Meet Joshua, a 21-year-old autistic who uses spelling to communicate.
