We are two Austrian overlanders travelling around the world. In the summer of 2023, we spent four weeks in the Pamir with our off-road vehicle. We not only travelled the legendary Pamir Highway, but also visited the Wakhan Corridor and the Bartang Valley. We also drove the challenging route from Karakul Lake to the Bartang Valley. In June we conducted a seven-day hiking tour with three local guides and two donkeys through a remote region in the heart of the Pamirs. The route led from Lake Yashikul over the Langar Pass to Lake Sarez and then on to Barchidev. In addition to this adventurous journey, the video also tells about the history of the Pamir, its people and its culture. The 30 minute long video is in English language.
