Video Not Working? Fix It Now

Part 2 of making a Crystal radio set. Accompanied by explanations of how it actually works. Hopefully, these are more or less correct. It is one of the great benefits of YouTube that one can make 'explanatory videos'; and in doing that, make sure that one actually understands the subject. If you get it wrong, someone is sure to tell you! This series - all being well - will proceed to more advanced 'simple radios'. At the end of this video, by way of variety (and let's face it, just for fun!) we substitute an EA50 thermionic diode (valve, vacuum tube) for the 'cat's whisker' crystal detector and germanium diode already demonstrated. Everything so far has been carried out on the Long Wave Band - BBC Radio 4 on 198 KHz - but Part 3 will get us up to the higher frequencies of the Medium Wave Band... What might come after that, is anyone's guess!
