This is finally the final chapter of our three-day sequential drive. After passing Nigorigo Onsen in the morning and enjoying the Seseragi Kaido, R158, and other pleasant roads, we are now heading for Tokyo with a big detour on National Route 156 as the starting point for this episode.
We cross the Hida Tunnel, which is 11 km long, and the Ibushi Tunnel, the longest prefectural road at 4.6 km, and enjoy the fast winding and bending roads before heading out to the city of Hida Furukawa. There, we will stop at a drugstore to recover my physical condition, refuel for our final stint, and stop at a convenience store to refuel ourselves before embarking on our final journey.
We will enjoy the “Prefectural Road 484,” which is a furiously winding road, and then suck down the “Large Forest Road Takayama Ooyama Line” as our final luxurious dessert. At sunset, we take a coffee break to conclude the trip and bid farewell to a wonderful three-day road trip, taking the road back to Tokyo.
