Cubism is one of the most famous avant-garde art movements from the early-20th-century. Based on the decomposition of objects into geometric shapes to show many points of view and different impressions, this art movement made the first steps to pure abstractions. Du Cubisme,written in 1912 by Albert Gleizes and Jean Metzinger, is the first major text on Cubism.
