Custom Metal FLOATING Stairs / Tread Installation, Part 3

PART 3...Yall get ready for these stairs to come to life when we install the 3" thick white oak treads that we made last week. I am so blown away with the way these treads look after we installed them onto the stringers. They are beautiful! #woodworking #stairs #treads Installation was pretty straight forward. We did have a couple of hiccups, but once we figured those out and got a gameplan the install was smooth as butter. Always be sure to keep your steps in plane with your landings and everything will fall into place after that. These are the fourth set of floating metal steps I have installed (it's been 5 years since we did those, so I was a little rusty) My man Jay Robinson built all four! The first two were actually a double decker installed in a home I built a few years ago, along with the third set of which was an exterior set of stairs. They just have a wow factor that a regular set of steps just don't have.
