I bought this MG Gundam Barbatos kit back in 2020, but it’s taken me more than three years to build up the courage to give it a personal touch. This has also been the kit that started my gunpla collection, having built over 15 kits since then and a backlog of over 10 kits. Wew.
In addition to the new paintwork, I’ve added some unique features—a striking white hair piece, a tail and a magical staff that channels the mythic essence of the Monkey King, being inspired by the relatively new game, Black Myth: Wukong.
Barbatos has always stood out to me as one of the most badass Gundams, and I think this new look takes it to another level.
