Recipe for: Milinki With Cheese. Delicious Breakfast for the Whole Family!
Required products:
For the dough:
600 g of sifted flour
200 ml. fresh milk (room temperature)
100 ml. cool water
1 egg
3 tablespoons of oil
1 tablespoon of yogurt
7 grams of dry yeast
1 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of sugar
For the filling:
150 g of crushed cow's cheese
For the topping:
100 g of cow butter
40 ml. fresh milk
30 g of breadcrumbs
Spreading oil
Method of preparation:
Activating the yeast:
Add the sugar and yeast to the lukewarm water. Stir and leave for 10 minutes to activate.
Preparation of the dough:
In a large bowl, combine the sifted flour and salt.
Make a well in the middle of the flour and add the fresh milk, activated yeast, egg, yogurt and oil.
Knead a smooth, soft and slightly sticky dough.
Form the dough into a ball, brush it with a little oil and leave it in a greased bowl to rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
Shaping the cuties:
After the dough has risen, knead it slightly and divide it into 3 equal parts.
Form each part into a wick and divide it into 10 equal parts to get a total of 30 small balls.
Arrange the balls in a pre-greased pan (diameter 34 cm.) and distribute the cheese evenly between them.
Cover the pan with a towel and leave to rise for another 30 minutes.
Preparation of the topping:
In a heated saucepan, melt the butter and add the breadcrumbs. Fry for 30-40 seconds, stirring constantly.
Gradually add the fresh milk, stirring constantly, until the topping is creamy.
Baking:
Spread the cuties with the filling and bake them in a preheated oven at 180 degrees (no fan), in the lower part of the oven, for about 30-35 minutes.
Serving:
Remove the cuties from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. They should be fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside.
