In December 2023, I cycled from Granada to Valencia over 8 days on my gravel bike through some of the most beautiful landscapes I have ever seen. Stopping in small cities like Guadix, Yecla, and Xátiva and many smaller villages completing 362mi (584km) and 21,663ft (6603m) of elevation along the way.
This trip was more touring than proper bikepacking—staying hotels, hostels and apartments—regardless, it has been my most challenging and inspiring cycling endeavor so far.
