Profile of Kaworu Takahashi
Born in Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture.
She started playing the mandolin when she entered junior high school.
She is enrolled in Hijiyama Girls' Junior and Senior High School Mandolin Club and Yamaguchi University Mandolin Club.
After graduating from the Early Childhood Education Course at Yamaguchi University's Faculty of Education, she joined the Bacchus Mandolin Ensemble, Pro Musica Mandolin Ensemble, and Band Promenade.
Currently, she is the representative of La banda de gran Rio and the concertmistress and conductor of the Iwakuni Mandolin Orchestra.
Since August 2012, she has been studying mandolin with Kazuhiko Takahashi. From November 2022, she will study conducting under Kazuhiko Ishii.
1st place in the 30th Kyushu Mandolin Solo Competition in 2013.
1st place in the 24th Japan Mandolin Solo Competition in 2014.
