Synopsis:
Surya (Rajinikanth) is an abandoned child of 14 year old child of Kalyani (Srividya). He grows up to become a fearless king of slums. These qualities lead him to cross swords with the local don Devarajan (Mammootty). His friend passes away and Rajinikanth gets placed in prison. However, when Mammotty discovers the truth he decides to get Rajini released from jail.
