My understanding of this show is it is in the early 1980’s when Dan was at the peak of his career (most of the songs are off of Phoenix and The Innocent Age), one of the major networks filmed one of his concerts with the intention of airing it in the near future. Unfortunately, half way through the show Dan’s voice cracked and he lost his falsetto. Consequently, it was never aired. Somehow someone got a copy of the recording and that led to me being able to buy a VHS tape of it off of eBay back in the late 1990’s. When I discarded my VHS collection I digitized the tape and put it on my computer and then burned it to a DVD. There are many great songs not usually heard in other shows like Face The Fire, Tell Me To My Face, a solo acoustic guitar instrumental of Eleanor Rigby (a fill in for one of the songs he needed his falsetto for), and many, many more.
Because of the source and age it isn’t of the best quality of course but still very watchable. I divided it into two sets due to the upload time for YouTube. I’ll put the link to the first set in the comments.
