Dancers in the Dark is a 1932 American Pre-Code film about a taxi dancer (Miriam Hopkins), a big band leader (Jack Oakie), and a gangster (George Raft). The screenplay was co-written by Herman J. Mankiewicz and Howard Emmett Rogers from Jazz King, a stage drama by James Ashmore Creelman, and directed by David Burton
