This sound journey began months ago in Denmark, as I sat with my guitar, playfully meditating and recording simple, heartfelt tunes. I knew I couldn’t bring the guitar with me on our journey, so these moments became a way of saying goodbye — for now.
Months later, the journey called to me again, but this time, it unfolded in a magical morning by the fire. As I watched the trees sway, the sun rise, and the birds dance in the grass, a melody began to hum through me. In that moment, I heard my partner Mami’s voice joining mine, resonating within me as if it had always been there. So I passed on the recorder to him, and this soundscape took shape. Dancing with the trees.
These days, it feels like so much is unfolding, and the trees have become my greatest teachers. They tell stories of trust and patience, whispering their wisdom silently through the wind — reminding me to plant seeds, nurture them, and trust that they will grow in their own time. There is so much to receive when we simply listen.
