Our journey began with an exciting road trip to Darjeeling. The scenic drive was filled with lush green hills, winding roads, and breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Upon reaching Darjeeling, we checked into our cozy hotel, freshened up, and set out to explore this charming hill town.

Our first stop was Batasia Loop, a historical railway marvel offering panoramic views of Darjeeling town and the mighty Kanchenjunga. We witnessed the famous Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR) winding through this spiral loop, a must-experience for every traveler.

Next, we strolled along Mall Road, the heart of Darjeeling’s shopping scene. From traditional woolen clothes to exquisite handicrafts, the market was bustling with energy. We also tried some delicious street food, including momos, thukpa, and Darjeeling tea.

Our second day started early—4 AM to be precise—as we set off to Tiger Hill, the best place to witness the world-famous sunrise over Kanchenjunga.
