In this video I'll focus on the comics that inspired the DC Animated Universe version of the character, almost exclusively written and illustrated by the legendary Jack Kirby.
I'll also talk about how there is only supposed to be one Darkseid in the entire multiverse, and what this means for his ultimate fate in Justice League Unlimited.
