DAT HQ, MADONNA frozen / 1988 Aiwa Excelia XD001 DAT recorder = Sony DTC-1000 ES (4DD drive)

The first consumer series of Philips TDA1541 based DAT recorders using the legendary SONY 4 motor drive. The Aiwa Excelia XD001 is similar to Sonys DTC 1000 ES machine. These old recorders sound smooth and warm like an old analogue reel to reel recorder at 19cm/sec speed.
