I had two very different experiences in two towns using my Whill Ci wheelchair. I use my wheelchair less than I should but as my dislocations have gotten more frequent and extreme I am trying to be more regular in my wheelchair habits. Part for protection from being bumped into and also to keep my tibias from dislocating by turning. I have some guilt around using my wheelchair and how to makes other uncomfortable which I do need to get over. This video is what it is like to be disabled and using a wheelchair in Rockridge Oakland. Spoiler, no very BAD from horrible city planning with cripple X Games Level of ramps and graded sidewalks to store owner and shoppers attitude towards the disabled. Hint if you are out in the world and do not see wheelchair users you can assume that area is too dangerous for wheels. The a date night in Burlingame which is practically a wheelchair utopia. Brilliant city planning creating a great and safe space for all on the main avenue.
