We tried the 2AM bus from Davao City to Maramag, Bukidnon. This was after we arrived from a 45-hour ferry trip from Manila to Davao City.
In order to catch the 2AM bus, we tried staying at the 224-peso room at D'Morvie Suites in C.M. Recto for 6 hours. It was probably the smallest room we've been to!
After checking out at D'Morvie, we took a taxi to Ecoland Bus Terminal. The taxi drivers in Davao are probably the most honest. They use meters even at 1:30AM!
Upon arriving in Ecoland, I was able to catch a bus going to Cagayan de Oro. Discounted fare to Maramag is only P295. And by 2AM, we were already coasting MacArthur Highway, then BuDa Highway afterwards.
Bus was very comfortable but very cold! Arrived in Maramag quarter before 6AM.
