This is a really good scenario showing this in snow. I've been through 5 snow storms now. This begins with the biggest and ends with comments about how well or not well the awning area can be heated up using the Colorado Cylinder Spruce Stove. I also show removing snow from the roof with a hot stove. If you're considering getting this and will be at risk of being in the snow I highly recommend watching this.
Note: the version is the video is the first edition of this 6170 model. There have been several improvements. Kodiak makes improvements based on customer experience, warranty claims, and engineering recommendations. These include a stronger reinforced upright pole with the joint reinforced, and stainless steel rings vs brass grommets for the pole and guy rope attachment points.
