This video showcases the design and development of the Assassin Big Block Ford Cylinder head. As per Darin Morgan, the baddest BBF cylinder head, out there. This video starts out with Myself meeting Robert Ed Mclemore at PRI this year. He fills me in on the story behind these Assassin BBF cylinder heads. Its amazing, a guy with no cylinder head knowledge, develops the baddest BBF cylinder head. The casting was done at Jarvie Performance Casting, here in Ohio. Ed makes the BBF cylinder heads in both billet and cast version. This version, has a nitrous combustion chamber. Ed also makes the matching intake for these heads. You can see the detail's of these heads, and hear a lecture with Darin Morgan, on the benefits and features of these heads. He also goes over the flow numbers of these extraordinary BBF cylinder heads. We feature John Wick, which is a 630 cubic inch big block Ford. Designed Performance whittled out the BBF, engine block from billet. The intakes that he makes for BBF, are cast, single carb. But Ed had John Marcella construct the Tunnel Ram style intake manifold. A work of art.
Ed, also makes theses Assassin Cylinder heads in SBF also. I will make another video on these cylinder heads. He also made a 3 D printed intake manifold, which you will see on the video. These intakes are for the SBF cylinder heads. They weigh about 8lbs. The heads are machined by Elite Machine and Forming.
I also added in the flow numbers for these heads, and some dyno pulls, and runs. The HP is amazing, with a nitrous combustion chamber, the 630ci engine made 2.4hp/cube, and 1516hp, torque was 1.55ft/lbs per cube, for 982 ftlbs max. As Darin said, this engine, has a nitrous cam, and heads ported for nitrous...."I have no doubt whatsoever this engine will produce 1000ftlbs, and 1550 HP. "
Ed also has a pretty bad Mustang, you will see it at the end of the video. This John Wick, will be installed and the Assassin heads will be tested, stay tuned for that.
