DC plane crash reaction: It's 'not standard to have aircraft collide,' transportation secretary says

During a press conference offering updates on the plane crash with a military helicopter in Washington D.C., new Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy said the flight path taken by both aircraft was standard but also said the collision was preventable. Duffy said the United States' airspace is the safest in the world, too. "Obviously, it is not standard to have aircraft collide." Duffy said.
