You read the Player's Handbook page to page but still can't make sense of how does combat work in DnD? In this video, I present a made-up combat scenario in D&D. My goal here is not to teach you how to battle (for that I point you towards the previous video: https://youtu.be/h1HYhpxosS8) but rather to give you an actual example so you can see how are the actions handled, how do you make attack rolls and damage rolls, all the things that you might not understand even after reading about them, until you see it in action.
